Customer Services Centre

The Customer Service Centre has been developed to be the first point of contact with the Council for all of our business and is user friendly for the disabled.

Our friendly customer-focused team will assist you in person at the Customer Service Centre on the square side of the road linking Council’s Customer Services to the heart of the city.

Services

Some of the services we can assist you with are:- 

  • Payments and enquiries for all council accounts including rates, rates rebates, parking fines, water meter bills, rental housing and leased car parking. We accept cash, cheque and Eft-Pos. No credit card payments accepted, except for our Online Rates payment facility.
  • All enquiries and applications for Health and Liquor licences
  • All enquires and applications for land and development approvals including resource and building consents.
  • Dog registration
  • Information on PNCC facilities including pools, parks, walkways, rubbish collection days, cemetery records
  • Log reported enquiries or faults with Council Services
  • Council job applications and tender documents
  • Requested property information
  • Council rubbish bags can be purchased at the Palmerston North City Council Customer Service Centre at $16.00 per pack of 10 or $1.60 each.
  • Any other general enquiries
