Only Palmerston North City Council Official Bags will be collected, Unofficial Bags will not be collected.
Council adopted the Waste Minimisation plan in November 2006, the emphasis of which is to reduce the percentage of waste being disposed of and increase the amount of reused, recovered and recycled material from 30% to 50% by 2012.
