The Monrad Youth Facility project is about creating a space for youth aged 11-14 years old who live in the Takaro are or use Monrad Park.
The Council intends to close or divert Milson Line so the Airport can extend its runway and comply with international safety regulations.
Planning is underway for a phased programme of building works at Arena Manawatu within the budget set by the 10 Year Plan ($2m per annum).
The Council has built a “swabbing station”. Basically this allows us to run a big sponge through the main water supply pipes to clean them out on a regular basis.
The Council also seeks to strengthen its relationship with Manawatu District and will work with Manawatu District Council to develop more shared service and joint projects across all activities.
Plans for work at Te Manawa have refocused to relocating the New Zealand Rugby Museum into the Te Manawa premises.
