The Esplanade Scenic Railway was established in 1969 and travels
through native bush and secluded areas of the Esplanade.
The new extension loop takes the railway all the way to the
children's playground and back again.
The track is 2.2km long and the ride is approximately 20 minutes
duration.
Hours of Operation
1 - 4pm Saturday and Sunday, school and public holidays.
Extended hours in January.
Tickets
A fare of $2.50 gives a passenger a full circuit back to their
starting station, but they may break the journey at the other
station before returning if they wish.
