Between Friday 16 September and Wednesday 21 September your voting pack will be delivered to your mailbox. It will include your voting forms and a booklet containing photos of each candidate and a personal profile, written by each candidate.

Voting forms can be filled in at any stage but they should be in the post by Wednesday 5 October to make sure they arrive in time to be counted.

Alternatively, you can hand deliver the forms to the Council Building on The Square right up until 12 noon on Saturday 8 October.

If you are on the Electoral Roll and your voting papers haven’t arrived by 21 September, please call 06 356 8199 and ask to speak to the Electoral Officer.

If you are not listed on the Electoral Roll for the elections, there is still time to enrol. You can do this up until 4pm on Friday 7 October by visiting your local Post Shop, any branch of the Palmerston North Library or Council’s front of house. However, in order for you to vote in this year’s elections you will need to contact Council on the number above and ask for a Special Voting form.

Special voting facilities will be available at the Council’s front of house during normal office hours and from 8am to 12noon on Election Day, Saturday 8 October.
