Biodiversity Strategy

Council’s Biodiversity Strategy aims to increase the health and extent of terrestrial and aquatic biodiversity in Palmerston North.

Palmerston North City Council aspires to move the city towards becoming a more friendly place for plants, birds, pollinators and fish. The Biodiversity Strategy provides a framework of suggested actions to help other organisations, the council and community work together to achieve that goal.

Council adopted this strategy in 2013.
