The Communitrak Survey is an independent survey which is conducted every three years. The results help Councillors in their decision making and direction setting process. They also provide Council staff with information about services.
In 2013, 407 residents were interviewed over the telephone by the National Research Bureau. The sample was selected to reflect the ward system (which has since been disestablished), gender and age structure of the City.
The final results were stratified to match the population structure. The margin of error varies from three per cent to five per cent.
