Anzac Day Civic Service

Palmerston North will come together to honour the sacrifices of New Zealand’s servicemen and women this Anzac Day, Friday 25 April.

The city’s official commemorations will take place in Te Marae o Hine – The Square, with the Dawn Service at 6am, followed by the Civic Service at 9am.

Traffic management will be in place from 5am to 11am.

Other Anzac Day services in Palmerston North

A range of additional Anzac Day services will be held across the city and wider region, including:

  • Palmerston North Dawn Service – 6am
  • Linton Military Camp Dawn Service – 6am
  • Ashhurst Dawn Service – 6am
  • Pohangina Service – 10am
  • Te Rau o Te Aroha Māori Battalion Hall Service – 10.30am
  • Bunnythorpe Service – 10.30am
  • Ashhurst Civic Service – 12pm
