How to register for an online dog account

Step 1: Create a user profile

The registration button below will open a form on our e-services website where you'll be asked to provide some simple information like your name and contact details. Please note, you'll first be redirected to RealMe to log in, before being returned to the registration form. RealMe verifies your identity so we can be sure we're setting up an account for the right person.

Step 2: Our team will finish setting up your account

Once we get your info we need to match it up to the information we hold on our dog register. If we need anything else from you, we'll contact you to check. Once the account is all ready to go, we'll send you a confirmation email. We aim to complete this process within 2 business days.

Once you get the confirmation email, you're good to go. Log in to access our dog services portal and complete the following tasks online: 

  • View all dogs registered to you
  • Add one or more new dogs
  • View and pay any dog registration fees owing
  • Update the location of all dogs registered to you
  • Advise us if a dog registered to you has died and request a refund of any residual dog registration fees
  • Request a replacement dog tag if the previous tag has been lost
  • Transfer ownership of a dog to another person within our district
  • Update your online profile and contact details that we use to communicate with you
