Digital welfare support from Digits

Friday April 3 2020

Local digital inclusion charity Digits is working to make it possible for families who need it to access free internet during Covid-19 alert level 4.

Digits, the digital inclusion charity featured in the last edition of Palmy Proud, is offering free modems with 30Gb of data through Skinny internet to allow families to connect online during lockdown.

This is for families who don’t have the internet access they need to work and study from home – it isn't intended for streaming entertainment.

Families can add data as they need it at a rate of $5 per 30Gb of data (maximum five top ups).

To enquire about this offer, email admin@digits.org.nz or phone 027 302 2888.

If you email, please include all your contact details, including your phone number, so Digits can call you to get the process under way.

The modems will be couriered out free of charge.
