The Robertson Holden International Speedway will be at full throttle on 2 and 3 February for the Enzed Superstock Teams Championship.
This is New Zealand’s premier speedway event, when the defending champions Palmerston North Panthers play host to teams from around the country and Great Britain.
Fans from as far away as the US, Australia and UK come for a guaranteed action-packed two nights and a 14,500-strong crowd packs out the venue each night. The event is almost sold out before opening night and accommodation in Palmerston North is packed to overflowing.
Ten different classes race on the clay and lime surface at Central Energy Trust Arena throughout the season, from the glamour superstocks and sprint cars through to solo motorcycles and sidecars. Over the years, local drivers have built an enviable reputation, with many national individual and team titles in all classes of racing.
