The service is to remember and honour those who lost their lives in the tragic events of 15 March.
This is an opportunity to come together as a community to show solidarity, and honour those affected by the terrorist attack.
A big-screen will be located in the events quadrant of the Square. Council recommends people bring their own seating.
The service will be jointly-led by government representatives, Christchurch city leaders, Ngāi Tahu and the Muslim community.
Should there be wet weather, the service will be screened in the conference room Conference Room at the Palmerston North Conference and Function Centre.
All public are welcome.
