The limit per application has also increased from $5,000 to $10,000 for each application (maximum of $20,000 a year per applicant).
“We know that the needs of lockdown last year have shifted, with Level 2 changes affecting events into 2021. We want to make sure everyone has a fair opportunity to receive the support offered by this fund,” Chief Customer Officer Chris Dyhrberg says.
To be eligible for fund help, those who apply should have:
- experienced an increase in demand for services because of Covid-19
- seen a loss of anticipated income because of Covid-19
- experienced unexpected costs due to Covid-19.
