Do you bike, walk, or take a bus to get around the city?

With rising fuel costs, you could be thinking seriously about ditching the car in favour of walking, biking, or catching the bus.

We're planning to hold a regular, informal, community-focused session for sharing active and public transport updates, feedback, plans and projects for the city.

Come to a Let's Talk: Active & Public Transport session to learn more about Palmerston North’s ambitions to be a sustainable eco city with a physically active population. We want to hear from you, too, so bring along your experiences and ideas.

With Palmerston North City Councillors Brent Barrett and Karen Naylor, the first Let’s Talk Active & Public Transport session is on Tuesday 25 September from 5.30 to 6.30pm in Palmerston North City Library's Events Central (entrance via George Street).

Let’s Talk: Active & Public Transport continues on Thursday 25 October from 5.30 to 6.30pm in the library’s second floor Heritage Living Room with Councillors Brent Barrett and Leonie Hapeta.

Another session will take place towards the end of November.

So, pull on your walking shoes, grab your trusty velocipede, or leap aboard a bus and “Let’s Talk!”
