Wellington Anniversary rubbish and recycling

We’ll be picking up your rubbish and recycling as usual on Wellington Anniversary Day, Monday 25 January. Please have your items out on the kerb by 7.30am.

Our rubbish and recycling facilities will be open public holiday hours.

  • Awapuni: 12pm to 4pm
  • Ferguson Street: 10am to 3pm

Look out for the team in their orange #PalmySafe shirts. They'll be out and about in the central city from 9am to 6pm every day until the end of February, and at our city events.
