The candidate handbook is crammed with essential information about how Council works and the election process. It answers common questions about campaigning and advertising, and what we require from candidates.
Come to the Council Chamber and find out how Council works
We're holding two information sessions on Thursday 26 November, from 12.30 to 1.30pm and again from 5.30 to 6.30pm.
- Ask the Councillors questions on their roles, how Council meetings run, and how they make decisions.
- Find out how you can start influencing/ contributing to Council decision making.
- Learn about the process behind the Council's strategic documents, and how they're created.
