DX Mail locations
This year we're working with DX Mail to make it easier to post your vote. We've placed extra dropoff points in your communities. Check out the map below to find the box which is closest to you at home or work. Please note, because of the change in Covid alert levels, we've now removed ballot boxes from schools. At Alert Level 2, our mobile library is also off the road.
What to do if you haven't received your voting papers
Please contact the Deputy Electoral Officer. Email email@example.com or call 06 356 8199.
Late enrolments and special voting
If you haven't enrolled yet but still want to vote, you can. This is called a special vote.
You'll need to come in person to Council's customer service centre during open hours (8am to 5pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and 9am to 5pm Wednesday).
Special voting will be open weekdays from 26 January until 12pm on 17 February, except for public holidays.
