Council meetings for the week beginning 2 November

What's coming up at Council next week. All meetings are open to the public and held in the Council Chamber, First Floor, Civic Administration Building, 32 The Square, Palmerston North unless specified otherwise below.

Hearings Committee

The hearing will begin at 9.30am on Monday 2 November.

Agenda: Objection to return of resource consent application for SUB5697, a six-lot subdivision at Johnstone Drive, Stage 6G1: Aokautere Land Holdings Ltd.

Planning & Strategy Committee: Extraordinary meeting

The committee meets at 1pm on Tuesday 3 November.

Agenda items include:

  • Hearing of submissions on Draft Speed Limits Bylaw
  • Summary of submissions

Infrastructure Committee

The committee meets at 9am on Wednesday 4 November.

Presentations include:

  • Countdown Supermarkets will be sharing about its two projects in the city
  • Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency will be updating Council on Te Ahu a Tūranga: Manawatū-Tararua Highway.

There will also be a discussion about putting in a pedestrian crossing on James Line.

Community Development Committee

The committee meets at 9am on Wednesday 4 November.
