District Plan Change C decision released

Palmerston North City Council has released the decision on Proposed Plan Change C to the Palmerston North City District Plan. This plan change rezones the first stage of a new area to the west of the city to enable more housing. The new area is referred to as the Kikiwhenua residential area, part of the wider Kākātangiata growth area (formerly Pioneer City West).

Appeals to Environment Court

Pursuant to Schedule 1 Clause 14 of the Resource Management Act 1991, a person who made a submission on a proposed policy statement or plan may appeal to the Environment Court within 30 working days of service of the notice of decision.
