Otira-Rangitāne Walkway

You can start this walkway at Paneiri Park, travelling up Escort Grove through pasture into the Rangitāne Reserve, a large open space carpeted in grass with lots of native plantings. Up for more? You can extend your walk on the circuit back to Tōtara Road where the walkway joins the Mangaone Stream Walkway.

1.56 kilometres or 3.93 kilometres (circuit through Mangaone Stream)

Horses are allowed along the Otira Walkway.

Dogs

  • Ensure dogs are under control at all times and do not disturb livestock where walkways pass through rural areas.
  • Please pick up your dog waste and put it in a rubbish bin or take it away with you.
