River Link Pathway

This route links the two shared pathways along the Mangaone Stream and the Manawatū River, completing the city circuit. It trails through both residential and industrial zones and at times, various parks and drainage reserves.

Photo shows a woman standing on the pathway next to the riverbank, holding a small shaggy dog and gazing out over the water to the trees on the opposite bank.

The payoff once you've made it to the river!

The majority of this route is along city streets and footpaths. Dogs must be on leash at all times, except for Edwards Pit Park.
