River Link Pathway

This route links the two shared pathways along the Mangaone Stream and the Manawatū River, completing the city circuit. It trails through both residential and industrial zones and at times, various parks and drainage reserves.

The majority of this route is along city streets and footpaths. Dogs must be on leash at all times, except for Edwards Pit Park.

Distance:
John F Kennedy Drive to Ruamahanga Wilderness Reserve = 7.9 kilometres

Contour:  Mainly flat with some moderate slopes

Surface:  Grass, limestone, asphalt

Access Points:  Lots! Milson Line - Paradise Place - Railway Road - Tweed Street via Edwards Pit Park - Featherston Street - Norton Park - Hulme Street Reserve - Clyde Crescent Reserve - Keith Street - Limbrick Street - Ruamahanga Crescent
