In line with the Local Electoral Act 2001 we will undertake a review of representation beginning in early 2018. The review will consider how many elected members we should have, and how many wards there should be, including boundaries.

We've been exploring ways to ensure Māori values and perspectives are better included in the development of our city. Around 18% of Palmerston North’s population identify as Māori.
