We’re reviewing the way our community centres operate and we want to hear from you about your experiences of these facilities.

Council has nine community centres across the city. They are located in Awapuni, Bunnythorpe, Highbury, Kelvin Grove, Milson, Westbrook, Rangiora, Terrace End and Ashhurst.

Our community centres provide bookable spaces for social, recreational, cultural and educational activities. The centres give people opportunities to take part in community activities, learn new skills, and to share their talents and resources with the wider community.

We aim for our community centres to be affordable, easy to access, well used and to meet the needs of the community.

To let us know your thoughts please fill out this simple survey by 5pm Friday 14 February.

This multi-purpose facility opened its doors in October 2021. Council hopes its newest community centre will play a pivotal role in bringing people together and building an even stronger and better-connected community.

The centre has a 168sqm meeting room, kitchen and bathrooms, and has been designed in a way that it could be expanded in the future.

Capacity: 100 seated and 200 standing.
