Otira-Rangitāne Walkway

You can start this walkway at Paneiri Park, travelling up Escort Grove through pasture into the Rangitāne Reserve, a large open space carpeted in grass with lots of native plantings.

Otira Park

One of Palmerston North's multi purpose reserves, this walkway also acts as a drainage reserve in time of flooding.

Paneiri Park

This sportsground neighbours Ahimate Reserve and provides easy access to the river and the dog park.

Rangitāne Park

This park features an amazing slide.

 

You can ride your horse on this walkway.

Up for more? You can extend your walk on the circuit back to Tōtara Road where the walkway joins the Mangaone Stream Walkway.

Dogs must be on leash

• Ensure dogs are under control at all times and do not disturb livestock where walkways pass through rural areas.
• Please pick up your dog waste and put it in a rubbish bin or take it away with you.
