This year, Explore Esplanade is going prehistoric with The Lost World Edition.

For one day only, the Esplanade will transform into a land before time. You won’t just enjoy Palmy’s biggest playground and everything else the Esplanade has to offer. You’ll also step into a world of dinosaurs, lush prehistoric plants, and roarsome fun who the whole whānau.

Get ready for:

  • A dino parade – dress up and join the mighty dinosaurs
  • Interactive themed zones – explore hands-on activites and prehistoric adventures
  • Live entertainment – music, performances, and surprises throughout the day
  • Food and market stalls – delicious eats and unique finds, many embracing the Lost World theme
  • A Yabba Dabba Do dance party – bust out your best moves in true Stone Age style

So bring your costumes, your curiosity, and your sense of adventure – because this is going to be an unforgettable day for the whole whānau
