Join us this Waitangi Day in Te Marae o Hine – The Square for a free, family-friendly celebration.
Hosted by Palmerston North City Council in collaboration with Ngāti Hineaute, the event brings our community together to acknowledge Waitangi Day and celebrate the people, cultures and stories that make Aotearoa New Zealand special.
There’ll be fun activities for tamariki, including bouncy castles!
Enjoy live performances from Tom Knowles, Te KuraHuia and Rhythmik Fusion Band as well as local community groups, alongside market stalls featuring local businesses, artists and delicious kai.
Keep an eye on the Council website and social media channels for the performance schedule closer to the event.
Attendees at this public event may be recorded by Palmerston North City Council or our contractors, including drone footage. Images and audio-visual recordings of the event may be published for promotional activities, by the Council or one of our affiliated partners.
