Free household chemical waste drop-off day

It’s time for a Spring clean, Palmy! Bring along those old gardening, house, pool or car chemicals lying around your place and we’ll help you get rid of them safely!

We’ve teamed up with 3R Group to run a free household chemical waste drop-off day on Sunday 30 November. Everything collected will be recycled or disposed of in a safe and responsible way.

Accepted items include:

  • Chemical cleaners
  • Poisons
  • Insecticides
  • Brake fluid
  • Fuel
  • Chlorine

To take part, register online and let us know how many items you’ll be dropping off. We’ll then confirm your drop-off time and location.

Please note, this event is for Palmerston North residential households only – businesses, farms and organisations aren’t eligible.
