Festival of Colours

Come and join in on this holi-inspired event and cover your friends and family in paint powder, all whilst listening to some of the best artists and DJs in the region.

Coordinated paint throwing will take place at 6.30, 7.30 and 8.30pm. The paint available is fully non-toxic and is washable, however, it may still stain clothing. So, bring an old white t-shirt and head on down.

Entry is free and coloured powder will be available in exchange for a gold coin or a donation of one’s choosing. All proceeds will be donated to the Napier Response Fund.

Holi Festival, also known as the Festival of Colours and the Festival of Love, originated as a traditional Hindu festival based on legends reflecting the triumph of good over evil and has evolved to become a celebration of love and harmony. The throwing of coloured powder over each other is a visual representation of putting aside differences and sharing the moment as one.
