Parks and reserves fees and charges

Here are the fees we charge for activities in our parks and reserves, including sports, camping and mobile trading.

All fees and charges include GST. Effective 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026.

Camping fees

Ashhurst Campground Fee per night 
Powered site $10 per adult
Unpowered site $7 per adult
Children  $5 per child

 

Commercial fees

Mobile vendors

These are the fees we charge for food trucks, coffee carts and other mobile traders in our parks and reserves. In line with Council's policy for the use of public spaces, vendor trading on sportsgrounds requires support from the sports code allocated the grounds.

Tennis coaches
These are the fees we charge tennis coaches to hire a court for providing lessons.

Sportsground charges

We allocate sportsgrounds to sports codes for a season and they decide which team plays where each week. Each season is 22 weeks. The winter season is the second week in April to the third week in September. Summer season is the second week in October to the third week in March. 

Sportsgrounds and pavilions may also be hired for one-off games and tournaments.
