Wild Explorers at Ashhurst Domain

Get the tamariki outdoors for a free session of messy, hands-on nature play at Ashhurst Domain.

There’s no need to register. Just turn up and join in.

What you can do

There’ll be plenty to get stuck into, including:

• making damper over the fire
• wood whittling
• nature bingo
• rock painting
• exploring the willow huts.

Before you come

• Dress tamariki for outdoor play and clothes that can get a little messy.
• Caregivers must stay during the session.

Getting there

Meet us near the Jockey Rooms at Ashhurst Domain. Park in the playground car park and walk over to the Jockey Rooms area.

Wild Explorers is delivered in partnership with WILD Nature School.
