The Palmerston North City Council is proposing to amend its election sign controls in its Signs and Use of Public Places Bylaw 2015 and welcomes submissions on the proposed amendments.
These changes are designed to reflect current practices to allow election advertising on illuminated and digital signs, and to ensure public spaces are managed appropriately during election periods.

You can also pick up a paper submission form from these locations or call 06 356 8199 to have hard copies sent to you.
Submissions on the proposed changes close at 4pm Monday 11 May, 2026.
