Generosity New Zealand database

The Generosity New Zealand database is a great place to start looking for funding for community projects and activities.

Generosity New Zealand maintains a searchable database that will give you the best matches for funding you may be eligible for, along with closing dates, application requirements and contact details.

  • givME (formerly Breakout) allows individuals to find funding for school, polytechnic or travel grants, sports and arts schemes, personal grants and personal development funds.
  • givUS (formerly Fundview) allows community groups to find funding information from trusts, local authorities, gaming trusts, government and other sources.

This is a subscription service, but Palmerston North City Library card holders can access it free though the library website or at your local library.

To access the database outside of the library go to the Library Databases page, click on “givME” or “givUS” and log in with your library card number and PIN.
