This GNS Science report details the tectonic landscape and associated fault hazard information for Palmerston North and Horowhenua District.
It was compiled by undertaking active fault mapping using airborne Lidar-derived topography, regional scale models, and previous geological datasets.
The report includes information on the location of active faults and folds within each council boundary, and related Fault Avoidance Zones and Fault Awareness Areas.
