Candidate statement

I am standing for Palmerston North City Council to bring a practical, community-focused voice to the table. I believe Council must prioritise the basics such as reliable core services like roads, water, and waste whilst keeping rates affordable for residents. I support disciplined spending and investment in infrastructure that enables smart, sustainable growth. We need to back local businesses, maintain essential services, and make sure families can thrive in a liveable, well-managed city. I grew up in the Manawatū and now raise my young family here. As a local businessman, former educator, and active community member with governance experience I have a deep connection to our city. I am committed to helping Palmerston North grow with purpose, without losing sight of what matters most to everyday people.

I am seeking election for council.
