Get ready to celebrate Christmas, Palmy style.
Join us for a free afternoon of festive fun in central Palmy, starting with the Very Palmy Christmas Parade and followed by live entertainment, activities and food at the Very Palmy Christmas Concert in Te Marae o Hine – The Square.
A Very Palmy Christmas Parade | 2–3pm
Our friends at Kairanga Lions Club are once again bringing the Christmas Parade to the streets of Palmy.
Expect colourful floats and plenty of Christmas cheer as the parade makes its way through the city centre.

A Very Palmy Christmas Concert | 3.30–7.30pm
Once the parade wraps up, head to Te Marae o Hine – The Square and keep the celebrations going.
There’ll be plenty for the whole whānau to enjoy, including:
- live entertainment
- activities for kids
- food trucks
- a surprise or two.
We’ll announce the entertainment line-up and more event details soon, so check back for updates.
