Get ready to celebrate Christmas, Palmy style.
Join us for a weekend of festive fun in central Palmy. Watch the Christmas tree light up on Saturday evening, then enjoy the Very Palmy Christmas Parade and Christmas Concert on Sunday, with live entertainment, activities and food in Te Marae o Hine – The Square.
Christmas tree lighting | Saturday 5 December, 7.30–9pm

Join us as we light up Palmy's Christmas tree! Bring your friends and whānau and enjoy a festive evening in the heart of the city.
A Very Palmy Christmas Parade | Sunday 6 December, 2–3pm
Our friends at Kairanga Lions Club are once again bringing the Christmas Parade to the streets of Palmy.
Expect colourful floats and plenty of Christmas cheer as the parade makes its way through the city centre.
A Very Palmy Christmas Concert | Sunday 6 December, 3.30–7.30pm
Once the parade wraps up, head to Te Marae o Hine – The Square and keep the celebrations going.
There’ll be plenty for the whole whānau to enjoy, including:
- live entertainment
- activities for kids
- food trucks
- a surprise or two.
