New Year’s Eve in The Square

This year, we're pulling out all the stops to make it a night to remember. Whether you're young or young at heart, there will be something for everyone.

We’ll have a special countdown with the kids at 9.30pm, with the main countdown following at midnight – both topped off with a spectacular fireworks display.

Energetic artists and performers will take the stage and wow the crowds, and there will be plenty of food and activities for all!

On top of the musical and dance performances, prepare to be wowed by the magic and excitement of The Biggest Little Circus! Check out their incredible feats, jaw-dropping acrobatics, and mesmerising performances. You won't believe your eyes!

Skateboard have-a-go session and competition

Skateboarders will be able to have-a-go from 5pm to 9pm. This is open to everyone under 16 and all equipment will be provided.

Best trick competitions will kick off at 9.30pm, with two age categories – 16 and under; 17 and over. Skaters can register at the event on the night.

Navigate your way around the Inflatable Kingdom - we're talking bouncy castles galore.

Tamariki will also be able to check out the science lab that'll we'll have down there for those who are curious and love mixing, designing, and discovering.

This is the ultimate New Year's Eve celebration, and it's going to be a night full of excitement and entertainment for the whole whānau.
