Celebrate the end of 2026 and welcome in the New Year in the heart of the city.
Bring your friends and whānau along to Te Marae o Hine – The Square for a free evening of entertainment for all ages.
There'll be plenty happening throughout the evening, including live entertainment, activities for kids, food and more, before we light up the night with a fireworks display.
We'll be sharing event times, the entertainment line-up and more details closer to the day, so keep an eye on this page for updates.
Want to be part of our New Year celebrations? We're looking for stallholders to help make the evening a great one. Apply to have a stall at the event.
