If you get a parking ticket, you have 28 days from the date it's issued to pay the fine, or submit an appeal.
Please note we don't accept part-payments. You must pay for each ticket in full.
What happens if I don't pay?
If you’re having trouble paying for your ticket, please let us know. We can work with you on the best possible solution.
Payment is due 28 days after we issue the ticket. If you don't pay within this time, we send a reminder notice to the address where the vehicle is registered. This gives you another 28 days to pay.
After that, we lodge your infringement with the Ministry of Justice for debt collection by the Courts. You will have to pay any extra costs as well as your fine.
For more information about the fines process, see the Ministry of Justice website
