Tetra Pak recycling

Two liquid paperboard packages under the sun with a clock tower at the background.

Tetra Pak and other liquid paperboard packaging can be dropped off to Ferguson Street Recycling Centre during opening hours.

Some common liquid paperboard items are soy and almond milk containers, as well as cartons of juice and stock.

Once you drop off your used cartons and containers, they're collected and sent for processing at saveBOARD’s manufacturing plant in Hamilton. These items are then turned into low-carbon building materials.

We’ve teamed up with 3R Group to run a free household chemical waste drop-off day on Sunday 30 November. Everything collected will be recycled or disposed of in a safe and responsible way.

To take part, register online and let us know how many items you’ll be dropping off. We’ll then confirm your drop-off time and location.
