Ko Bonnie Kuru au.

He uri nō Ngāti Kahungunu ki Tamatea Ariki Nui, Kahungunu/Rangitāne ki Wairarapa, me Ngāti Toa Rangatira. I was born and raised in Manawatū.

I'm standing to represent our people because I believe in action. I'm a proven leader, owning small businesses and hold expertise across property, social work, government and community development. I've spent years serving on boards, kura kaupapa and sport as a representative and a proud NZ sport māmā.

I'm committed to building thriving communities where local businesses grow, rangatahi have opportunities, and all whānau have access to safe homes, clean water, and strong infrastructure.

I bring people together, Māori and non-Māori from all walks of life, pakeke and rangatahi, entrepreneurs and educators, with aroha, integrity, and a shared vision for our mokopuna.

I embody unity, practical solutions, and bold leadership grounded in kaupapa Māori.
