Candidate statement
Born in Palmerston North, I'm proud to have raised three children with my wife, Wendy. Starting my career as a tradesman and the past 17 years owning and operating The Coffee Club on the Square, a business that has become a hub for community connection.
Through the business, I've supported a wide range of local groups and charities, some of which include netball, cricket, football, golf, gymnastics, and Kids Can. I've also coached senior rugby and managed the Manawatū Turbos for seven seasons, including their 2014 Championship win.
I currently Co-Chair the Business Improvement District (BID) Committee, working alongside PNCC and CBD stakeholders to promote a vibrant, safe city. Managing the Safe City Hosts programme, supporting local retailers, landlords, and events.
I aim to bring strong, practical, and balanced decision-making to the Council table - focused on innovative solutions, responsible fiscal management, and maintaining deep connections with our community.
