I have had the privilege of being a City Councillor for the past 12 years
I am the current Chair of the Economic Growth Committee and have championed CBD, BID program. This program assists retailers to maintain a vibrant city centre. I have supported Safari Group project to build a hotel on Old Post Office site, also supported the development of the Central freight hub and new ring road.
The world is going through tough times and we need people with balanced views to lead our city. Our community can no longer tolerate the rate increases of the past so we must look carefully at future spending. I am passionate about transparency in decision making. I have over 20 years experience in business and a good understanding of the complex issues facing our city.
