We're proposing changes to speed limits on some roads in our city.
The Palmerston North Draft Speed Management Plan outlines changes to speed limit changes around schools (Part 1), as well as two other specific roads where urgent changes are needed on Te Wanaka Road and the intersection of Longburn-Rongotea Road and Number 1 Line (Part 2).
In 2025, we asked the public for feedback on the proposed changes. The submission period closed on Monday 15 December.
