Ashhurst residents can go back to using your water as usual. A big thank you for your patience and efforts to conserve water while we repaired the burst water main. You might notice some discoloured water tomorrow. If you do, please run your cold tap for up to 20 minutes. If it still doesn't run clear, give us a call.
Our team have repaired the leak and restored the drinking water supply. Linton, a huge thanks for your patience and understanding while we got this sorted.
The Māngai Atawhai City Ambassadors Programme is again operating over the summer months to foster a safe, welcoming, and vibrant central city environment.
City Ambassadors provide a friendly, visible presence in the CBD, engaging with residents, visitors, and local businesses. The overall programme supports activation of public spaces, such as in Te Marae o Hine – The Square, while addressing safety concerns through positive relationship-building and collaboration.
You can catch our City Ambassadors (green t-shirt and black cap) in Te Marae o Hine - The Square from 11am to 3pm every Tuesday - Saturday, until 14 March.
They'll also be providing a relaxed space to chill out and chat or try your hand at some of the games like giant Jenga, Connect Four and others outside the UNBOX.
This year, they're teaming up with Youth Space to provide some fun activities for our local young people. Check out the list below for dates and times of these fun events. See you there!
