To book a building inspection, please email us at inspectionbookings@pncc.govt.nz

What you need to provide to book an inspection

In your email, please provide us with: 

• the address
• building consent number for the project
• name and phone number of the contact person who will be on site
• your preferred date and time for the inspection (morning or afternoon)
• the type of inspection you require.

Confirming your booking

We'll respond within 1 business day to confirm a time or touch base if we need more information.

If you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled inspection, you may be charged a cancellation fee.

As a Building Consent Authority, we must complete at least 80% of building inspections within 3 working days of the requested date. This national requirement is designed to reduce delays and improve certainty for building projects. To help us meet this timeframe, please ensure your site is ready for inspection and all required documents are available.
