Ready to get in the know about all things happening in our city?

Come on down to the Planning Palmerston North Expo on Saturday 20 April from 10am to 1pm at the Conference and Function Centre on Main Street.

This will be your chance to find out more about what Council does, learn about upcoming work, and have your burning questions answered by the Mayor and elected members. We want to hear from you, so bring your queries, ideas, and feedback along.

Mayor Grant Smith says this free event is for the whole family.

"Picture a home show, with heaps of different stalls and things to do. While you're busy chatting away with us, the kids can have a blast exploring our recycling trucks, diggers, and water pipes, as well as some other cool activities."

Stroll through dedicated stalls covering topics such as rates, transport, water, waste, proposed community facilities, growth and much more.

"Your input on upcoming projects as part of our Long-Term Plan is invaluable. This is an opportunity to talk to us all face to face."

If you can't attend the expo, catch our Facebook live session this Wednesday 17 April, from 6.30 to 8pm. Elected members will be addressing questions collected through our Council Facebook page, covering all topics, from rates to seismic upgrades. You can also ask questions live from the comfort of your home, and have them answered then and there.
