Proposed new lease at 5 Andrew Avenue

Palmerston North City Council is calling for submissions in support of or against the leasing of recreation reserve land to The Scout Association of New Zealand.

We intend to grant a lease under Section 54 of the Reserves Act 1977 and the Support and Funding Policy 2022, for the proposed leasing of recreation reserve land to The Scout Association of New Zealand. This is for the purpose of scout club rooms which are an existing use. The premise is located at 5 Andrew Avenue, Palmerston North. 

Submissions or objections open until Friday 10 February 2023

If you’re interested in making a submission or objection, please do so in writing and let us know if you wish to appear before and be heard by a Council committee in support of your submission or objection.
